Description
5/28/26 - This is a Smith & Wesson Model 1917 issued to the US military during WW1. It is all matching, "United States Property" marked, and has the proper flaming bomb and "Eagle Head" military acceptance proofs. There are British export proofs on the right side of the barrel, right side of the frame, and on the cylinder. The gun has an old re-blued finish with areas of noticeable splotchy discoloration on the barrel, on the cylinder, and along the top strap. Some light surface scratches here and there. Fitted with wood grips - not numbered with bruising on both sides. Mint bore.
