Description
2/10/26 - This is an excellent example of a Smith & Wesson Victory from WW2. These guns were made from about 1941 to 1944 with V-prefix in the serial, and a production run of about 500,000. This particular Victory model is all matching-numbered with the barrel, cylinder, and right grip panel matching the frame. This revolver has retained about 96-97% of its original finish. While there is not much actual finish loss, there are light surface scratches covering most of the barrel and frame. The cylinder only has a slight roll mark, and there are hints of high edge wear throughout. The wood grip panels are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The bore is bright with crisp rifling, 10/10. Mechanically sound with proper timing and lock-up.
