Description
11/6/25- For sale is a nice Remington P14 bayonet produced in August 1917. Many American manufacturers made military equipment for Britain and France, so there are many examples of "British" and "French" equipment made in the United States. This bayonet was manufactured by Remington for a British P14 pattern rifle in August 1917 before being purchased to equip the US Army. The blade has most of its original finish with some light scratching and wear but no damage. The one side of the blade is marked with "Remington" in a circle, 8 17 for manufacture in August 1917, and 1913 indicating the model of bayonet. On the other side, there are British proof marks that are crossed out and a simple US stamp. The handle is intact with no cracking. The wood is tightly attached to the handle and has the two indented lines to indicate which bayonet model it is. The scabbard is intact without any serious damage, only wear to the metal fittings and some loss of paint/finish. The leather is fully intact. Overall in very good condition.
