06/25/26 - For sale is a JP Sauer K98k made in 1943 that was captured and reworked by the Soviets during WW2. The metal has the typical dark black bluing common on Soviet refurb guns. The surface has patches of oxidation throughout. The receiver has some white spotting from the material used to fill in the stamps. The stock has the Russian Varnish. No cracks or breaks. The serial number was added to the left side of the buttstock. The bore is bright with good rifling, but is darkening towards the muzzle from age. The bolt is force matched to the rifle.
