Description
6/26/26 - This is an original 1939 dated Luger holster from WWII made by Ernst Kurz, who only made these from 1938-40, and this examples has all the proper markings, including the “E.K.St.” maker marked for Ernst Kurz of Stuttgart, along with a 1939 date stamp and proper corresponding “WaA101” military proof. The brown leather is structurally sound and firm, yet has retained pliability and shows no significant damage or notable wear. There is scattered surface (likely heat-induced) pimpling, spots of discoloration, a few pressure marks, and areas of finish loss on the exterior leather. There is one small gouge below the top flap on the body of the holster, and one on the outer edge of the magazine compartment. The stitching is all original and intact. The belt loops and closure strap are excellent and do not seem to have have had a belt through them. The interior leather is in excellent condition, with minor blemishes here and there.
