Description

04/29/26 - For sale is an Inland M1 Carbine made in late 1944. The carbine had been issued to the Austrian Gendarmerie after WW2. The carbine retains a nice parkerized finish with light surface wear. The stock is in equally nice condition with minor surface dings. The inside of the slingwell is stamped a sideways W and the Gendarmeire rack #. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The barrel is stamped Inland Mfg 11-44. The internal parts are majority Inland but the hammer is Winchester. The bottom of the trigger guard is stamped for the Gendarmerie in the Carinthia region with a matching rack # to the stock.
