12/2/25 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand made in 1951 and sold through the CMP as a Field Grade. The rifle has a nice parkerized finish on the receiver. The barrel shows more finish loss and patina. The stock is in great shape with plenty of handling marks. The surface has been lightly sanded. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but there is some oxidation at the muzzle. The Muzzle erosion rates a 1.5 and throat erosion is 1. Comes with the CMP COA and an en block clip.
