Description
7/21/26 - This is an ANIB Colt Model 1860 Army Blackpowder Signature Series revolver, serial number 217918, chambered in .44 CAL. It has the correct open-top percussion configuration with an 8-inch barrel, blued barrel and cylinder, vivid case-colored frame, hammer, and loading lever, brass trigger guard and front strap, and smooth walnut grips. Markings are crisp throughout, including ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA on the barrel and COLT'S / PATENT on the frame. The revolver is all matching, with the serial number stamped on the barrel lug, frame, grip frame, and trigger guard.
The revolver is in outstanding, near-mint condition, with no obvious signs of wear or use, not even a faint cylinder turn-line, and the bore is also stone mint. Comes with its original gray Colt Blackpowder Signature Series box, and matching/serialized outer white box, which is also marked with the model designation. Also includes the original Colt Black Powder instruction manual and warranty card. Box shows a bit of light storage wear, and some fraying/creasing to the white outer carton. Black powder firearm, so no licensing is required for purchase.
