6/16/26 - This is a beautiful Colt Signature Series 2nd Model Dragoon chambered in .44 caliber, complete with its original matching factory box, manufactured during the late 1970s or early 1980s. This variation is characterized by square notches and a squareback trigger guard. These are scarcer and more desirable than the examples from the 1994-2000 era. This particular example is all matching, with the serial number stamped on the frame, barrel, cylinder, and trigger guard. It is in near-mint condition, retaining virtually all of its original deep factory bluing, with just a faint turn line on the cylinder. The frame, hammer, and loading lever showcase vivid and undisturbed case colors. The brass trigger guard and backstrap show very minor hints of natural patina. The bore is minty, with minor signs of use. The smooth walnut grips are pristine, showing no chips or handling stress. The revolver comes complete with its serialized original factory box, Colt black powder series paperwork, and the Colt's Cap and Ball Revolvers owner's manual. Black powder, so no licensing required.
