Description

02/05/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle made in 1888. The rifle is in good condition but the metal is well aged and patina'd. There is some aged oxidation spots as well but no deep pitting. The stock is in great shape but there are many dings and nicks throughout. No cracks to note. The left side of the wrist is stamped SWP 1888. The bore is bright with strong rifling but there is shallow pitting rings about 3 inches form the muzzle. The rifle coems with an original socket bayonet and scabbard. Both well patina'd but in good condition.
