Description
9/19/25 - This is a Colt Government Model 1911 manufactured in 1922. The gun has retained ~80-85% of its bluing, with most of the finish loss coming from the grip straps, with splotchy patches of wear on the front strap and heavy thinning/fading from the rear strap, with milder thinning on the grip safety. There is also some high edge wear on both sides of the slide, which is more pronounced on the left side. Areas of light surface scuffing and scattered nicks throughout. Small specks of freckling here and there, with one small patch of light surface oxidation on the left side of the slide between the hammer and the last slide serration. Some wear is also present around the muzzle, and there are also spots of wear on the underside of the slide where it inserts into the frame and the underside of frame itself above the trigger guard. A few tiny dings around the pinned opposing side of the slide stop. Excellent shiny bore with sharp rifling. Comes with one proper magazine.
