SOLD - Colt Single Action Army Cylinder – U.S. Martial Marked

7/28/25 - Offered here is an original, martially marked Colt Single Action Army (SAA) cylinder chambered in .45 Colt. The cylinder is in excellent condition overall, retaining strong bluing with sharp flutes and crisp markings.

It features the “R.A.C.” inspector mark, denoting U.S. government inspection by Rinaldo A. Carr, who inspected Colt revolvers for the U.S. military in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Additional markings include the serial number 3345, a “P” proof mark, and a “C”, likely denoting a factory or inspection code.

Chambers are clean and show minimal wear, with excellent timing notches and ratchet teeth. This would be a great part for restoring a U.S. martial SAA or as a collectible component for Colt military revolver enthusiasts.
