Description
6/23/26 - This is an excellent example of a Finnish Mosin M39 made at the VKT Arsenal in 1941. The gun is all matching with an import mark on the barrel. The receiver is marked "VKT" and has the proper Finnish "SA" marking. No visible markings on the stock. Comes with an original cleaning rod. This one has been arsenal-refurbished and has retained virtually all of its finish. Some light oxidation on the bolt. Minty wood furniture. The rifling in the bore is a bit dark towards the muzzle, but it is mostly shiny and there is strong rifling throughout. The M39 was an improvement over the other Finnish Mosin predecessors, and they are considered to be the finest and most accurate Mosin Nagant rifles ever made.
