Description
6/26/26 - This is an excellent 1943 dated P38 holster made by Gebruder Klinge of Dresden (manufacturer code "gxy"). The back top section is crisply marked with a WaA708, "gxy 1943" maker stamp, and "P38" stamped on the far right. The exterior leather is excellent, firm and structurally sound yet pliable, with surface scuffing scattered throughout the front of the body and top flap along with minor scratches, and light abrasive wear at the corners of the top flap. The exterior leather on the reverse side shows normal age-related wrinkling near the toe. All original stitching is intact. The closure strap and belt loops are lightly worn but in great shape. The internal leather is also excellent, though there is age-related wrinkling on the top of the holster body near the boundary.
