SOLD - Excellent Late War - Rare Maker Matching K98 Bayonet

8/5/2025 - This is a great example of a 1944 sgx K98 bayonet that is matching. The blade on this bayonet maintains almost all of its original phosphate finish and is in excellent condition. The blade is not sharpened and maintains it's original edge. The blade is stamped "44 sgx" near the ricasso and is serial numbered on the other side with "633". The grips on the bayonet are made of bakelite and are also in excellent condition. The scabbard for this bayonet is more worn than the bayonet itself, with most of the finish being worn except for on the top of the scabbard. The scabbard is also stamped "44 sgx" and is matching to the blade being number stamped "6334". Both the scabbard and the bayonet are waffen stamped, with the scabbard being marked on the ball point, and the bayonet on the pommel.
