8/4/25 - This is an exceedingly rare Colt Super .38 Automatic pistol with a factory nickel finish, manufactured in 1957. Colt manufactured between 5-6000 Colt Super .38s that year, but only 1-2% of that production were nickel finishes. This exceptional example would be nearly impossible to upgrade, retaining approximately 98% of its gorgeous nickel plating, exhibiting only very minor surface scratches on the slide, a few small dings below the safety catch, and a very slight darkening/patina along the top strap. The bore is near-mint. Fitted with correct Colt Super .38 grips and an original nickel-plated magazine marked "COLT SUPER .38 AUTO" on the base.
