SOLD - German Red Cross Leader's Dagger (051525-5 - RJ)

Description

6/9/25 - This is an original WW2 German Red Cross / Social Welfare Official's Dagger. Also known as a Leader Dagger. This example comes with an original scabbard and silver portepee. The dagger features an unmarked blade that's in excellent overall condition. The original leather stopper is still present and in great condition at the base of the blade. The hand guard / crossguard has surface patina throughout but no discoloration, such as rust or pitting. The pommel has some mild surface cracking of the plated finish. The orange bakelite grip has no cracks or chips, and the attached portepee is excellent with minimal fraying or surface damage. The scabbard is excellent with no dents or discoloration.
