4/14/26- For sale is a late-war jvd "U" marked P38 magazine. jvd was a subcontract manufacturer of magazines that would provide parts for larger manufacturers, notably Spreewerk. Most of these magazines are found with later war guns. The U marking on this magazine indicates the metal was untreated, indicating German efforts to speed up production very late in the war. The magazine body and base are both blued with light finish wear and no serious damage or dents. The left side of the magazine is stamped "P.38 U", the spine of the magazine is stamped with the jvd manufacturer code and a WaA 706 eagle, and the base has had the serial "1120" crossed out, likely post-war. The spring is strong and functional. Overall in very good condition.
