Description
7/18/25 - This is a nice example of a martially-marked Colt Single Action Army revolver from the late 1800's. As you can see from photos, several portions of the gun have been cut away to show how it operates. This gun still operates as it should, but we do not recommend firing this gun. "US" property marked with "P" and "DFC" military acceptance proofs. The only visible serial numbers are on the cylinder and load gate (not matching). The grips are dated 1885 and have military cartouches, but they are reproductions. The majority of the finish is worn, but there is some visible blue on the frame and hammer. Noticeable grinding marks on both of the straps. The bore has good rifling with minor spotty oxidation.
