5/19/23 - This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army Revolver, manufactured in 1904 and chambered in .45 Colt. 4.75" barrel. The entire gun has been nickel-plated and fitted with a really nice set of custom-made tin or pewter grips. The grips have a filigree engraving and relief of a horse on both sides. There is not much finish loss on the gun overall, except for an area of chipping in the nickel-plating on the cylinder. There are areas of pin-pricking under the finish on the cylinder and some pitting under the finish around the muzzle. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting throughout.
