9/22/26 - For sale is an Izhevsk M38 Mosin Nagant Carbine made in 1943 chambered in 7.62x54r. The rifle has gone through post-war Soviet refurbishment and has the typical dark finish on the metal. The stock has the shiny Soviet varnish finish. No cracks or breaks. The stock is for an M38 and not an M44. The bore is bright with good rifling. There is a ~1.5" counterbore. Import mark on the receiver. Matching (refurb) numbers on the barrel shank, bolt, buttplate, and magazine.
