08/10/26 - For sale is a Kokura Type 99 23rd Series chambered in 7.7x58. The rifle is in good condition with an aging bluing on the receiver. The barrel shows some surface corrosion and finish loss. The stock shows chatter marks at wrist from rushed production. There is a 2.5" crack on the left side of the wrist, stemming from the trigger guard. Has the correct push-button short cleaning rod. The bore is bright with good rifling, but there is a spot of heavy corrosion about 2" from the muzzle. The left AA sight is slightly bent. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety, firing pin, and bayonet lug. The receiver retains the full imperial mum. Comes with a repro sling.
