Description

05/11/26 - For sale is a Matching Mauser K98k made in 1941. The rifle has an aged, polished bluing, turning a grey/brown patina. The stock had been sanded and cleaned heavily; there were no cracks or breaks to note. The stampings are faint. The bore is bright with good rifling, and some oxidation is visible in the grooves. The rifle has matching numbers throughout. Matching on the receiver, barrel, rear sight, rear sight slider, bolt body, extractor, firing pin, bolt sleeve, safety, cocking piece, bolt stop, stock, trigger guard, both action screws, magazine floor plate, follower, buttplate, both barrel bands, handguard, and bayonet lug. Cleaning rod is absent.
