Description
07/30/26 - For sale is a Nagoya 2nd Series Type 44 Carbine chambered in 6.5x50sr. The carbine retains a nice blued finish throughout with some light edge wear. The bolt handle and safety knob had a black enamel applied. The stock shows signs of being sanded. There is a ~4" crack on the left side of the wrist. The splice on the buttstock is spreading apart, and a prior owner had used 2 screws to try to secure it together behind the lower tang. The bore is in great shape but there is some darkening of the grooves developing. The carbine has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, safety, upper and lower tang, magazine floor, and bayonet housing. Bayonet and bayonet release button are not numbered. The receiver retains the full Imperial Mum.
