Description

03/18/26 - For sale is a K98k made by Mauser (42) Oberndorf in 1938. The rifle is equipped with a short side rail base and a 4x scope made by P. Kohler Berlin. The metal has a darkened bluing with a mixture of grey and brown from patina and age. The stock is in great shape overall with light surface wear, but there is a 2" crack behind the trigger. Bore is bright wtih strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers throughout, including the action screws, stock, and handguard. 

The rifle is equipped with a P.Kohler 4x scope likely originally used for the Police. The scope has some damage on the eyecup with some of the housing missing. The side of the lens is visible with surface damage on the edges. The lens from the user side is not cracked and has a slight cloudiness. The serial number "663" on the side of the tube. The mount has the serial number 4174 stamped. On the underside is "14". The base has "13" stamped on the bottom.
