Description

9/2/25 - This is a 1908 DWM Bulgarian contract Luger pistol. There were exactly 10,000 of these pistols ordered by Bulgaria in the 1908-10 time frame. These saw heavy use in both WWI and WW2; having been rebuilt at least once or twice by DWM. After WW2 most of them were captured by the Russians. The chamber is marked with the DWM scroll monogram and has a Bulgarian Crest on top of the front toggle. The right side of the barrel extension is stamped with a single "Bulgarian Rampant Lion" acceptance/proof mark. This one has been re-blued, and the parts are mismatched. The grips show some wear, and there is a chip on the left side. Comes with a WW2-era magazine. Nice bore with good rifling.
