Description
6/3/25 - This is a very nice, honest example of an original Ithaca 1911A1 from 1943. This is a rare subvariation with dual-marked slide. Marked this way in a small serial range of 909,000-914,000. Proper "FJA" inspector mark on the frame and correct HS barrel. The gun has retained about 95% of its original parkerized finish. There is general high edge wear, very minor thinning on the grip straps, and some light spotty oxidation on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct reddish plastic grips and comes with a proper "R" marked magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is tiny pitting in the grooves.
