Description
7/25/25 - Typically issued to pilots and bomber crews on the Eastern front, this machete was meant to use as a survival tool in case a pilot or crew was shot down over enemy territory. This machete is in good overall condition. The wood on the grips is in good shape with just a few dings and dents. The metal on the handle has a proper aged appearance to it. There are two small chips in the left side of the cross guard. The blade has a sawtooth back and is also in nice shape. The Alcoso maker's mark is clearly visible. There is some evidence of pitting on the blade, most of it is close to the crossguard. The scabbard has a black paint finish that is chipping in some areas.
