10/22/25- For sale is a Reich Labor Service ceremonial gorget. "Streifendienst" translates to "patrol service" and the gorget was a common symbol of WW2 era German military police, indicating that this gorget was issued to the internal security and disciplinary forces of the Reich Labor Service. Wearers of this gorget would have been responsible for things like overseeing workers or preventing unauthorized access to work sites. Item is made from stamped aluminum with a felt backing. There is minor patina on the front surface but no serious damage. The felt backing is perfectly intact. The chain has only very minor wear. Overall in excellent condition and a rare piece.
