Description
10/28/25- For sale is a replica of a 19th century French marshal's baton. Napoleon made the rank of Marshal of France famous with the promotions of his top generals to the rank, a rank that came with an ornate baton as a symbol of authority. This baton is a replica of the one issued to Marshal Forey, a Marshal who served in the Crimean War and was the commander of the failed expedition to Mexico. The baton is covered in nice blue velvet with brass eagles and fittings. The fittings have another eagle on the top of the baton and Marshal Forey's motto around the top. The bottom plate is missing, so the bottom of the baton is open. Overall in very good condition.
