Description
09/03/26 - For sale is a French St. Étienne Mle 1944 chambered in 7.5x54 MAS in 1945 after WW2. The rifle is in great shape for its age and retains its original black enamel finish. Many of these rifles would be parkerized during a rebuild process. The finish shows wear in many of the parts, with the enamel flaking off. The stock and forend are also in great shape without any cracks or breaks. The barrel shows finish loss, with it wearing to bare metal. The bore is bright with good rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bolt, bolt carrier, and stock. The top of the globe front sight protector is broken. The bayonet is numbered "46" on the end that matches the rifle. Import mark on the bottom of the barrel.
