Description
8/1/25 - This is a scarce, dual-tone finish SVW 45 Mauser P.38 from 1945. It has a blued barrel with a phosphate slide and frame. Only about 7,800 of these guns were made. All matching with the proper "Waffen 135" Nazi military acceptance proofs. These finishes are a bit difficult to rate, but we estimate this one to be roughly ~85-90%. There are areas of finish loss on both sides of the slide and some very minor thinning on the front strap. Some spotty oxidation here and there with two small spots of minor pitting on the right side of the slide. Fitted with blackish-brown bakelite grips and comes with a correct "Waffen 135" marked Mauser magazine. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
