Description
05/26/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1898 Krag Jorgensen made in 1903. The rifle is in fair condition with the barrel and magazine losing the bulk of its blued finish. There are freckles of oxidation and patina throughout. The stock is in good condition with surface dings and scrapes. The bore is bright with strong rifling. The muzzle erosion rating is 1.5. The rifle comes with an original Model 1892 bayonet dated 1903. The blade has a sharpened edge and the surface appears to have been cleaned once before. There are freckles of oxidation throughout. The ricasso is stamped 1903 on one side, US on the other, and the front spine has 59. The scabbard is also heavily oxidized but structurally sound.
