Description
1/19/2026 - This is a nice example of a Steyr Model 1912 issued to the Nazi police force in the 1940's. It is all matching, has a period-correct "Eagle N" firing proof, and has a Nazi police "Eagle L" proof on the right side of the frame. It has an "08" marking on the left side of the slide, indicating it was re-chambered in 9mm Luger. Austrian proof on the right side of the trigger guard. It has retained about 90-92% of its finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, some thinning on the grip straps, an area of noticeable pitting on the left side of the slide, and a couple of light scratches on the right side of the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips that show some bruises and blemishes. The rifling in the bore is a little worn with light pin-pricking throughout.
