Description

03/16/26 - For sale is a German Model 1871 Carbine made by Steyr in 1876. Receiver is still in the white with light freckles of patina. The barrel shank is worn to a grey color and the barrel has an aged bluing. The stock is in great shape withlight handling dents. No cracks. The bore is bright with strong rifling, but some light pickling of pitting is visible near the muzzle. The rifle has matching numbers throughout down to the internal screws. The trigger guard was replaced with a target-style grip and has an engraving pattern and a fox on the bottom. Comes with a box of 11mm Mauser.
