Description
03/06/26 - For sale is a Tokyo Arsenal Type 38 Arisaka chambered in 6.5x50sr. The file is in fair condition with an aged bluing on the receiver and barrel. The color is fading to a grey. There is also prickling of old corrosion on the finish. The stock shows plenty of handling marks, and the seam between the buttstock splice has widened. There is a 2.5" piece missing in front of the trigger guard and an additional 2" crack stemming from that. The floor plate screw is severely damaged and not functional, which is shown in the photos. There are a few large chips missing in front of the band. The bore is fair with bright lands and darkened grooves. There are some patches of corrosion visible. The rifle is mismatched throughout. The receiver retains a full mum. Cleaning rod is absent.
