Description
8/5/25 - For sale is a Nice Walther P.38 made in 1940. This pistol falls within the known serial block of pistols that originally had their slide stamped with only "ac" but they had decided to start adding the 2-digit year to the slides. A "40" was added below the ac code on already made slides and was later centered on new ones. The pistol was captured by the Soviets and was refinished and marked with the "X". It does not have the usual Russian Dip. The pistol retains its original matching stamped parts and the small parts are stamped with the Eagle/359. The magazine is stamped with two Eagle/359 on the spine. The bottom of the magazine is stamped with the serial number, but it is not original. Decocker is functional. The bore is bright with strong rifling.
