Description

2/9/26- For sale is a US Model 1905 bayonet. The blade has most of its original bluing but the wear and loss of coloring gets stronger towards the tip of the blade. There are some scratches and minor chips in the blade but no serious damage to the blade. There appears to have been some in-period sharpening. One side of the blade is stamped with "SA 1908" and the flaming bomb, while the other side is stamped with US and a serial number. There are some chips and small cracks in the wood grips but both panels are generally intact and attached to the handle. The scabbard is the original canvas covered wood. The belt hooks are intact and functional. Overall in very good condition.
