Description
08/04/26 - For sale is a Colt Government Model 1911 Chambered in .45 ACP and made in 1928. The pistol has a gorgeous polished bluing with some visible finish loss on the slide. The mainspring housing also shows some wear on the side. The grip panels are structurally sound. The bore is very bright with strong rifling. The barrel is unmarked but has a similar high polish blue except for the top of the chamber exposed on the ejection port. Comes with two magazines, one is two-tone and unmarked, and the other is marked Colt .45 on the bottom. Pistol comes with the original matching box but shows significant wear, and one piece of the cardboard w/label is separating. Also included is a protective hard case with the foam cut to the shape of the 1911.
