Description

9/22/25 - For sale is a Type 2 paratrooper made by Nagoya during WW2. The Type 2 paratrooper is a takedown model that splits into two piece for easier transport. The rifle has a nice blued finish throughout with marks from old corrosion on the receiver surface. There's oxidation speckling on the barrel and front band. The stock is in excellent shape, but there is a 1/2" crack on the left side stemming from the front takedown piece. The chromeline bore is bright with strong rifling. The rifle has matching numbers on the receiver, bayonet lug, bolt handle, extractor, safety knob, and firing pin. The two takedown halves and the receiver have matching assembly numbers. The imperial mum had been ground.
