7/9/25 -  This is a very rare Walther PP that was manufactured in 1938 and sent to Persia as part of a contract order, potentially for either the police or military. This is one of only about 2,000 produced. It has Farsi legend and markings on left side slide and frame, and the Walther legend on the right side. These pistols were also chambered in the more rare and desirable 9mm Kurz. This one has what we believe to be an old re-blued finish with very little actual finish loss, just some minor dulling on the grip straps. Fitted with very nice period-correct black bakelite grips. Comes with a proper 9mm Walther magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor frosting throughout.
