Description
9/30/25 - This is an original Walther Model 7 manufactured in 1916. A second variation example, with trademark characteristics including 16 slide serrations and the proper banner, caliber, and patent info on left side of the slide. About 57,000 Model 7s were made from 1915-1919. This one is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. Its original bluing rates roughly 80%, with noticeable wear, discoloration, and surface level oxidation throughout the slide and slide extension. Minor thinning on the tang and backstrap. Fitted with period-correct black bakelite grips, that are in great shape with minor handling marks here and there. Comes with one proper magazine, which has areas of pitting, some of which appear to have been blued over. The bore is shiny with sharp rifling, but there is minor frost in the grooves.
