SOLD - WWI British War Office Map

10/23/25- For sale is a British War Office map of Liege, Belgium, dated 1918. The map is printed on thick paper or thin canvas to make it extra durable and at least slightly water resistant. The map shows key military features like roads, rail lines, hills, rivers, and forts, but not trench lines themselves, likely because there were thousands of miles of trench that were constantly shifting as they were attacked, rebuilt, captured, or lost. The map is in excellent condition, with no tears or discoloration. The cover is made from nicely marbled paper and a nicely decorated title section. Someone has written their name and home address on the cover. Overall in excellent condition.
