06/25/2024 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1903 rifle made in 1917. The rifle is in an overall 95% condition with the finish on the receiver and barrel being the most-worn area. The rifle was rebuilt sometime in the past as it has a sanded & replaced stock and the rear barrel band is parkerized and the nose cap is military finished blue. The top of the barrel is stamped SA 1-18. The bore is on the darkerside with visible rifling but the muzzle is very worn and rates a 6 on a .30-06 bore gauge. The rifle comes with a green canvas sling.
