Description

12/11/20 - This is a Springfield Armory M1 Garand that was originally manufactured in 1944, but was re-worked after the war.  Possibly went through the CMP, but certainly has had some parts interchanged.  Springfield barrel, receiver and some small parts.  Excellent finish, with most of the wear on the gas tube.  Receiver dates to October of 1944, barrel dates to October of 1953.  Strong, shiny bore.  Stock is unmarked but in terrific condition, was likely replaced after the war.  Comes with leather sling.  Muzzle reading is a 3, throat is a 1.
