Description

7/23/25 - For sale is a great-condition Springfield Armory M1 Garand.  This example was made in April 1945 and chambered in .30-06 caliber. This rifle is all parts original, although the stock is a wartime replacement. Light finish loss on the Op rod guide rail and locking lugs, along with the underside of the gas tube; otherwise, the finish looks decent throughout. We rate the finish at 70%. The barrel is dated 4/45. Bore is very clean throughout with a very light amount of frost near the muzzle, we rate the bore an 8 to 8.5/10. ME-2 TE-1. No relief cut in op rod. The stock does have a fair amount of dings and dents throughout, although no cracks and no obvious signs of sanding are present. Rifle does come with an original wartime sling that has been personalized. Action is fully functional. Overall, a decent original example.
