Description

05/06/26 - For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 and made in 1943. The hill had been rebuilt in the 50's. The rifle has a dark refinish on the receiver with light freckles of oxidation on the surface. The gas cylinder has almost all of its finish worn. The stock looks to be a commercial replacement in great shape. The trigger guard area has extra cuts for tolerance, and the buttplate doesn't sit flush with the stock. The bore is in good shape with a bright surface, but slightly worn rifling towards the muzzle. The muzzle erosion and throat erosion ratings are 3. The rifle is a mix of makers and variations. The op rod is marked NM for National Match.
