05/20/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1916 that was converted to percussion fire, originally made in 1826. The rifle is in good condition for its age, with the metal darkened to an oxidized grey. The stock is in good condition for its age. There is a crack behind the lock plate about 1/2" in length. There is also a chip under the buttplate on the right side. The bore is very dark. Comes with an original Socket Bayonet and scabbard dated 1882.
