4/24/26 - For sale is a Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor rifle with the ramrod bayonet. The rifle shows its age with oxidation on the metal surface and old corrosion. No pitting to note that is of concern. The stock is clean without any cracks or breaks. The stock surface shows spotting from storage. The bore is fair with strong rifling. The surface is bright but does start to darken about the last 5 inches of the muzzle and some spotting of corrosion are visible. The action functions properly.
