08/01/2024 - For sale is a Springfield Krag Jorgensen Model 1898 rifle that was cut down to a carbine. The rifle was refinished and has a very dark-blued finish applied. The stock is in great condition with no cracks or breaks visible. There is a white diamond embedded on the left side of the stock. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The barrel measures roughly 22.75 inches. The original serial number has been ground away and restamped.
